History of Sheepherding in the Wood River Valley, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at Starbuck's on Main Street in Ketchum
Sheepherder Hike, Ketchum Forest Service Park, 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Trailing of the Sheep Parade 12:00 noon
The highlight of the weekend. 1,500 sheep parade down Ketchum's Main Street with sheep ranching family members and herders. Blessing of the sheep and Peruvian musicians and dancers, Oinkari Basque dancers, the Boise Highlanders and sheep wagons.
Trailing of the Sheep Barbecue, 12:30 pm after the parade. Irving's Hill. Authentic ranch-style barbecue, plus La India. Fundraiser for the Festival.
