Folklife Fair Vendor

(For those new to the Festival, this is a simple way to see if you should apply.)

*We have three different venues over the course of three days where you might participate.

*For all venues, we are looking for handcrafted items and the creator to be the seller.  We do not accept commercial businesses or non-profits selling or soliciting.

1. Sheepdog Trials is a three-day event, October 11-13, 2019 (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) out Quigley Ranch in Hailey, Idaho. We welcome vendors who offer items attractive to dog lovers and sheep/wool enthusiasts who come from around the world to attend our Festival. The Trials has an attendance of 3,500 spectators over the three days and many Festival patrons only attend this event. (NOTE: No electricity is available. You may need a ‘hotspot’ to process transactions.) 

2. Sheep Folklife Fair is a one-day event, October 12, 2019 (Saturday) at McKercher Park in Hailey, Idaho. The Fair is juried and focused on ‘sheep.’ We require 75% of all items for sale to be made of wool, wool blends, sheep by-products or in the shape/image of sheep.  Attendance is 6,500 people for this 23-year-old event. (NOTE: Limited electricity available. Spaces fill out quickly. Wait List available.)

3. Sheep at Town Square is a one-day Invitational Event, October 13, 2019 (Sunday) in Ketchum Town Square in Ketchum, Idaho. With limited spaces for vendors, vendors who qualify will be notified. Vendors must have participated in at least one of our events in past 3 years. (NOTE: No electricity is available.)

*Vendors offering food to be consumed on-site need to contact Sheila Kelley, Program Director, at the email address below for additional requirements for all venues prior to applying.

*There is a $35 application fee required with Vendor Application. One Application fee per applicant is requested (no matter the number of events you are requesting space for over the three days.)

Sheepdog Trials’ space fee is $100.00 per 10’ x10’ space for all or any of the three days.

Folklife Fair is $100.00 per 10’ x 10’ space for Saturday.

Town Square is $100.00 per 10’ x10’ space for Sunday.

For accepted Fair vendors who want to vend at Trials on Friday, an additional $50 fee per 10’ x 10’ space is required.
