Volunteer With Us!

The Trailing of the Sheep Festival not only offers unforgettable and extraordinary festivities, but fun volunteer opportunities! Join the flock of amazing volunteers for the 2023 Festival. It is not just an opportunity to be a part of an fantastic celebration, but a chance to make a lasting impact as a vital member of our team.

As a volunteer, you will be part of the action - greeting guests, taking tickets, ushering and hosting presenters and performers, assisting at Headquarters, and helping out at the Folklife Fair and Sheepdog Trials. But it is not all work and no play! The Festival's spirit is contagious, and we know you will be spreading your enthusiasm to everyone around you.

We couldn't produce the Festival without our dedicated volunteers, and we are proud to have a team of over 200 strong. Thank you for helping us keep our rich history alive and thriving. We invite you to sign-up, celebrate and create memories with us!

If you have any questions, please contact Geegee at volunteers@trailingofthesheep.org.

"I like to volunteer because it gives me a chance to give back to my community, it is a way that I can help people in need. When I see kids' smiles when doing a sheep project and the fun that we could provide makes me so happy. To see kids having fun with cotton ball sheep that I helped with brings a new perspective of happiness." - Quinn Parmenter, 7th grader at Sun Valley Community School
